LOC is dedicated to empowering students in Memphis-Shelby County and the surrounding area with college access and experience. Our Dual Enrollment program allows eligible juniors and seniors to take college courses for credit while attending high school.
We currently partner with Hollis F. Price High School and actively collaborate with counselors and K鈥�12 leaders to expand college readiness and ease the financial burden of higher education.
International students seeking admission to 冈本视频 on a student visa must complete an online application, pay the $25 nonrefundable fee, and have all transcripts鈥攊ncluding those from previously attended colleges鈥攅valuated by a foreign credential evaluation service and sent directly to the College at their expense ($50鈥�$250). Applicants must also submit a notarized financial statement from a U.S. Embassy documenting at least $19,000 in support for one year, identifying the funding source and amount, along with an affidavit confirming that support. Documentation of two MMR and two varicella vaccinations, or proof of immunity, is required; some applicants whose first language is not English may also need to take the TOEFL exam.
冈本视频鈥檚 ASAP Program helps adults 18 and older start or return to college with flexible virtual courses that fit around work and family life. Students receive a personalized degree plan, small classes, and dedicated advising from enrollment through graduation, with opportunities to earn credit for eligible professional, military, ministry, or workforce experience. ASAP students also enjoy the full college experience, including student organizations, leadership opportunities, and campus events.
LOC Online offers a fully online, asynchronous pathway to a General Studies degree, allowing students to study from anywhere with accelerated coursework and virtual academic support. ASAP provides returning adult students with live virtual classes on a consistent schedule, combining real-time instruction, interaction, and accountability. Both programs help students pursue their degree while balancing work, family, and other responsibilities.
